A 65 mm CNC dust boot for Makita-sized bodies.
This mount is sized for a true 65 mm circular body and is intended for measured Makita RT0701C installations. Because machine carriages vary, body size and surrounding clearance both need to be checked.

Match the body. Then check the machine.
Fit boundary
A machine marketed as “Makita compatible” may use a different router, clamp, or dust-shoe geometry. Measure the installed body and check the carriage rather than relying on the machine name.
Where this mount starts.
- Makita RT0701C installations that measure 65 mm at the intended mounting section
- True 65 mm circular CNC spindle bodies
- Machines upgraded to a Makita-sized router after carriage-clearance confirmation
Four checks before ordering.
- Find the straight 65 mm mounting section rather than the tapered or vented router housing.
- Confirm access to the router controls and any collet-lock mechanism.
- Check clearance to the router clamp, Z carriage, rails, and workholding.
- Plan hose support so a compact router is not carrying hose weight.
Dry-fit the whole work envelope.
A matching diameter is the starting point. Safe travel, cooling, tool access, and hose support still depend on the machine around it.
- 01
Unplug the router and extraction system.
- 02
Position the 65 mm mount on the straight cylindrical section of the body.
- 03
Set the boot height without covering vents or controls.
- 04
Adjust the skirt for the current tool and stock, then support the hose above the machine.
- 05
Complete a powered-off travel and clearance check before cutting.

The same Dast Boot system, sized to your spindle.
The fit option changes the spindle mount. The quick-release clear skirt, rigid inner collar, LED halo, and adaptable hose connection remain the core system.
Explore the complete systemDoes “Makita compatible” always mean 65 mm?
No. Confirm the exact router model and measure the outside diameter at the intended mounting location.
Can the boot block router cooling?
Any spindle-mounted accessory must stay clear of intake and exhaust paths. Position the mount on the intended clamping section and keep all vents unobstructed.
Does this automatically fit every Shapeoko or Onefinity?
No. Those machines can use different routers, spindles, mounts, and accessories. Choose by actual body size and verify the machine-specific clearance.
The label follows the measurement.
Choose the mount with confidence.
Confirm the body and clearance first; choose the matching spindle option at checkout.
